Open to anyone from 8 to 80, beginner to advanced who would like to learn more about chess.

Approximate Daily Schedule:

                                          9-11                    Chess instruction and activities.

                                          11-12                   Lunch and recreational activity   

                                          12-2                    Chess instruction and activities.  

                                          2-3                      Recreational activity

                                          3 - 4:30                Chess instruction and activities.

Cost: $150 includes entry into the Murray Summer Open chess tournament on Saturday, June 28.  This will be a USCF rated tournament open to Camp Participants and others.  USCF membership is required and is not included in the Camp fee.

You can bring your lunch, go out for it, or we will provide it for all five days of the camp for $25.

June 28, 2014, Murray Open $G: 300. 4SS, G/60;d5. Rds. 10-1-then ASAP thereafter.

Third floor, Curris Center, Murray St. Univ., Murray, KY. EF: $10 if rec’d by June 25, $15 afterward. (Free to participants in the Murray Chess Camp – June 23-27) $300 guaranteed prizes: In two sections:    Open (for all) and Novice (for those rated under 1000),

Open: $50 + trophy to 1st; $25 + Trophy to first in each of B, C, D, under 1200.

Novice: $50 + trophy to 1^st; $25 + Trophy to first in each of the following categories - rated below 800, rated below 600, rated below 400.

If entries permit an additional $100 will be assigned based on where the entries are located.

The Chess Tournament RRR will continue at my house 1710 Audubon Dr from 2-5 Sunday (part or all) , then Mon nite at Legion center then back to the Curris Center Wed Nite.
